Adidas Introduces Glorious Print For Mi Adidas X 15 Boots

This is Fire. Adidas today added a Glorious Print option to the custom Adidas X 2015-2016 Football Boots to offer players even more choices for the Adidas X Cleats.

The Adidas X 15.1 Soccer Boots have been available to customize using Adidas' customization tool miadidas since late June 2015 and were well received by players who already created various outstanding custom Adidas X Boots. However, James Rodriguez has been the only high-profile player to lace up in custom Adidas Cleats created using miadidas.

The Adidas X 2015-2016 Glorious Print Option allows players to choose from 13 different colors for the unique graphic pattern, which is printed on the trademark X-cage of the Adidas X Cleats.
Previously, it was already possible to add the Splatter Print of the Adidas X Soccer Boots, while the Glorious Print Option now even adds more possibilities to customize the Adidas Chaos Boot.

Unfortunately, Adidas didn't add any new options for the custom Adidas Ace 15.1 Cleats, even though it was possible to add the Glorious Print option to the Adidas Ace Boots right from the beginning.

New adidas football boot model for 2016

It turns out that our many leaks of adidas colorways for 2016 possibly aren't the most exciting thing to look forward to. It depends how will you value what we are showing today, but even with first photos of totally new adidas football boot there still is a big dose of mystery, because what we have here seems to be one of cheaper versions of... something.
When we look at lower versions of adidas X case would be the same. They aren't interesting at all, but you can't say the same about the High one. What we have here is probably called TKKR, because that's what their insole says. What's that? Is that a new line? Or maybe just a model? We don't have a clue. It's probably a shortcut, but to what? It's hard to think of anything. Maybe you have a idea?

Let's talk a little about what do we have here. Sole plate is pretty minimalistic. Studs are short and there's not many of them. It's nice, that we have here something completely new. Is that a FG? And if yes, than in look like adidas is already getting out of the FG/AG plate concept. Interesting thing is that big green space right under where the boot flexes. It's probably made from the same material as the upper. It look good, but has none traction and by the way that's one of most used areas of the boot. Not the best place to put upper material on.
there's nothing exciting in the upper but let's keep in mind, that there may be in a more expensive version. It's hard to say what did they thought of there. Probably standard tongue, maybe the upper material itself will be a big thing to talk about in TKKR. Only thing that look impressive and well thought-through is the lacing system. Going in different directions wit that big space between the holes on the front. All made to wrap our feet nicely.

It's always interesting to see new boots and nice to have progress. It's hard to think about another release date better than next year's Euro 2016. Probably that's when these and next generation of adidas X will be presented.

Nike Hypervenom II Design Q&A

The revolutionary Nike Hypervenom 2 Boot was launched earlier this week in Barcelona's Camp Nou stadium. Having evolved a lot since the first generation Hypervenom from two years ago, the new Nike Hypervenom 2 introduces a Dynamic Fit collar and Flywire technology.
Nathan VanHook, Senior Footwear Design Director for Nike Football and Phil Woodman, Nike Football Footwear Designer, sat down with Highsnobiety to explain the design process behind the Hypervenom 2.

How does the design process work for a brand new product like this?
I think for football in particular, the amount of things you have to solve – like most footwear you just have to secure the foot and provide cushioning – but with football you need to have good traction for all surfaces; they need to have amazing touch and a lot of players are so detailed in the touch they want. It’s a lot of going back and forth with different prototypes [Hypervenom 2 Prototypes] to see what we can tweak and update.

In terms of the design process, when do you reach the point when you know the boot is finished?
I think the key is going back and forth with the players. When we set out these goals at the beginning we work with the players and once we tick off these goals and once it looks like a super unified product and every detail has worked out – then we know we’ve had a success.

Green Nike Hypervenom Phinish 2015 Boots Leaked

Black / Orange Nike Magista Obra Summer 2015 Boots Released

The Nike Magista Obra Black / Orange Summer 2015 Football Boots Colorway received a camouflage treatment, combined with flashy orange details and a dark green secondary color.

In April 2015, Nike also unveiled a striking orange Nike Magista Obra 2015 Cleats Colorway. The almost Black / Orange Nike Magista Obra Boot will receive less on pitch player support than the eye-catching orange colorway, which already worn by players like Mario Götze and David Luiz.
